Ce Walkaround a pu être réalisé grâce à l'amabilité de Monsieur Charlie HUGO, habitant Johannesbourg (Afrique du Sud), qui m'a envoyé, suite à un post mis sur ARC, 69 photos de 2 Loockheed PV.1 Ventura conservé en Afrique du Sud. Avec l'accord de Charlie, j'ai réalisé ce Walkaround, afin que tout le monde puisse profiter de ces photos inédites et rares.

Les 35 premières photos proviennent d'un appareil peint dans son camouflage WW2 comme il opérait avec la SAAF. Son Serial Number est 6432 et il se trouve actuellement à MOTH Hall dans l'Edenvalle en Afrique du Sud.

Les 28 photos suivantes proviennent d'un PV.1 Ventura en métal naturel, Serial Number 6534, et il se trouvait à l'époque des photos, dans fin des années 80 au Musée de Fort Klapperkop en Afrique du Sud, mais actuellement, il ne sait pas où il se trouve.

This Walkaround was realized thanks to the kindness of Mr Charlie HUGO, living in Johannesbourg (South Africa), who sent to me, following a post put on ARC, 69 photographs of 2 Loockheed PV.1 Ventura preserved in South Africa. With the agreement of Charlie, I realized this Walkaround, so that everyone can benefit from these new and rare photographs.

The first 35 photographs come from an Aircraft painted in its WW2 camouflage as it operated with the SAAF. Its Serial Number is 6432 and it is currently at MOTH Hall in Edenvalle in South Africa.

The 28 following photographs come from a PV.1 Ventura in natural metal, Serial Number 6534, and it was located at the time of the photographs were taken, in the late Eighties at Fort Klapperkop Museum in South Africa, but currently, it doesn't know where it is.
